Have you had a particularly interesting or intense religious experience--a "God moment"?
I recently discovered a very special service at the National Cathedral. Every second and fourth Sunday of the month at 6:30 in the evening in one of the subterranean chapels, there is a simple, but powerful, Taize service. Taize is a type of chant in which singers repeat a few verses 30, 40, even 50 times until you feel completely at one with the music and the words. The tunes are very simple and singable, so anyone can join in. You'll be amazed by the almost hyponotic power of the music.
To check the schedule, visit www.cathedral.org/cathedral.....sunday.shtml
For more details on the Taize service, check the very bottom of the page at www.cathedral.org/cathedral.....hedule.shtml

Wed, August 4, 2004 - 4:54 PMApparently, I have been censored.
One can only chuckle.
Here is a book to meditate on sometime --

Perhaps more God moments will fall upon us when we stop clinging to who we think we are, eh? Something to ponder. :)
